A roaring wooden structure . . . a dueling coaster . . . with the spirit of a lion and a tiger will finally be no more. On February 1st, Gwazi will be tamed. This coaster, Gwazi, had two tracks, that would duel and pass each other along the course of the ride. This sounded like a great concept, but during Gwazi's later years, the coaster's roughness overpowered the thrill aspect, and Gwazi just became an unenjoyable experience. They tried replacing the trains with more comfortable coaches and higher - tech maneuvering system on the train, but the roughness still seeped through. Finally, this troubled coaster will come down and hopefully the new space opening will host something greater, grander, and smoother.
Well, there are a few more weeks to get your final rides in. On February first, Gwazi will be gone for good. Goodbye, Gwazi.
Coasters are my passion. It's what I do, it's who I am.
